Join Levant

At Levant, we believe every child deserves a gentle and joyful start to school life. Our role is not just to educate, but to welcome children into a safe, inspiring, and caring community.

For our youngest joiners, especially our two year olds, we take great care to ensure their first steps into school are positive and nurturing. We follow a slow transition approach, where children build confidence and trust at their own pace:

Step 1: Mummy & Me Sessions: Before officially starting, little ones attend a few Mummy and Me sessions held in the afternoons, with a parent, helping them get familiar with the environment in a comfortable way.

Step 2: Part-Time Start: Children start by attending twice a week, allowing them to settle gradually without feeling overwhelmed.

Step 3: Full-Time Integration: Once the child feels secure, we move into full-time attendance, ensuring they are confident and happy in their new school routine.

We do not condone abrupt separations or rushed starts. By respecting each child’s pace, we create a foundation of trust, security, and joy that supports a lifelong love of learning.

Our settling-in plan is designed to be gentle yet practical. This plan, is available on our Downloads page and outlines how we support children in those first important weeks.

For parents who are unable to follow this gradual transition, we can work together on an alternative settling-in plan; one that is still gentle, reassuring, and tailored to your child’s needs.
